Starting out as a stage manager in 2010, I felt a calling to be the one providing the life and atmosphere to any event. I decided to turn my desire into a full time gig as a professional Weddings & Events DJ. I’m happy to say that since my first performance as a DJ, I have had the opportunity to work with thousands of amazing clients and have gained invaluable experience. I have worked alongside hundreds of venues and vendors in DFW and have built many relationships with some of the best in the industry. I enjoy all music types and customize each event according to the needs and desires of my clients. When I am not DJ-ing, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons. I am a child of god and my family and I are members of Watermark Fort Worth. Whether you’re planning a wedding, corporate event, bar/bat mitzvah, or any event involving music, you can count on me to guarantee it will be one that your guests won’t soon forget.

My name is Joseph I'm also known as DJ Joe-O.
I am a 13 year DJ veteran with 6 years experience in weddings. As a DJ, I cater to many styles of music and diverse cultures. I'm not like a lot of DJ's hiding behind the booth, I'm out there on the dance floor entertaining you and all of your guests creating an event to remember. Not only am I your DJ, I am also your MC, host and coordinator. I enjoy every aspect of what I do and my goal is to ensure everyone is having the time of their lives. I am available for parties, weddings, bar/bat mitzvah's, quinceañera's, corporate functions, adult parties, game nights, karaoke night's and more: I am YOUR all in one DJ!

Started DJ'ing in 2001 back in Michigan to where I primarily did bars, nightclubs and karaoke shows. After moving to Texas in 2007 I transitioned to mostly weddings and corporate events. Since then, I've performed hundreds of events at over 150 different venues ranging from 5 star hotels, rustic barn/ranch and even intimate backyard weddings. With my 20+ years experience you get the assurance that I understand how everything is supposed to flow and will help facilitate the day-of activities when a coordinator is not present.
In my personal life I live in Wylie, TX with my wife of 10+ years, our 9 year old daughter, 5 year old son and a sassy cat named Pepper. My full time career is a Material Planning Manager for a fiber optic cable company that provides to mostly military and aerospace contractors. Being a sit down desk job, I really enjoy this side gig hobby of making sure that people's wedding day goes exactly how they pictured.
My favorite part of being a DJ is going to places I would never see, meeting so many great people either as a client or in the wedding industry, learning a wide range of music genres and experiencing many wedding cultures and traditions from around the world.

I started producing and writing music in 2012. Entertainment has always been part of my life. Everyone I would meet always said "You should be a DJ," so I jumped into the industry in 2020. I must say that when I look out and see people smile with pure joy, dancing to the music, it truly gives me a sense of appreciation that we are still connected. There could be differences, but music always brings everyone together. I bring high energy and fun to every event. I love getting the crowd grooving and interactive. I get to travel and see new places I play all genres. I am very meticulous down to every detail needed for events ahead. My life is pretty flexible and exciting with amazing real estate adventures. I’m here to serve always.

How would you describe your DJ personality?
I am super energetic and positive. Friendly and outgoing. and I LOVE to DANCE.
What is your favorite DJ memory?
Wow, so many to think of. A live mariachi band, breakdancing groom, a serenade by the wedding party. Mixing a choreographed dance for the bride and groom. A widowed mother asking me to dance with her because she liked the music I was playing. Not to mention all of the couples I have met and the friendships I have made. They are all great memories.
Why did you become a DJ?
I LOVE MUSIC and I LOVE TO DANCE. The sounds…the energy… the people…the atmosphere. It is such an awesome rush. Not to mention that I get to dance and have fun EVERY time I go do a show!! What else can compare??
Why do you like performing at wedding dances?
Apart from when my son was born, our wedding was one of the most important days of my life and one that I will remember forever. Weddings are just incredibly happy, joyous and fun events and I love just playing a part in making every couple’s special day as memorable as mine was.
What is your favorite party song?
Right now, Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars or Time of Our Lives by Pitbull & Ne-Yo. Both are stop down songs for dancing. And Michael Jackson will always be the “King of Pop” to me.
What sets you apart from other DJs, or what are your specialties?
Quite often you will see me dancing behind my table or out on the dance floor teaching people how to do a dance. I love to get everyone involved and having a good time. I’ve taught wedding parties the popular dances like the Cupid Shuffle and the Wobble as well as other dances like Thriller, Copperhead Road, The Bird among others.
I have also done custom mixsets and I have many different types of fun things that we can do.
And I will listen to you for all the things that you want to happen and I will go above and beyond expectations to make sure that it all does.
What is your #1 goal as a DJ?
At the end of the day, my bride and groom come up to me and say “This day was EXACTLY what we wanted. Thank you”

Rev. Teddy King

Teddy is a home-grown Texas boy who studied church ministries with a minor in music at East Texas Baptist University. Teddy has served in music ministry and pastoral care in East Texas and areas surrounding DFW for nearly 30 years. Throughout these years, he has had the honor of tying the knot for many couples. His favorite parts of conducting wedding ceremonies are making them personal and unique to tell the love story of each bride and groom. He loves the wedding ministry because he gets to share with each bride and groom the start of their life together. His goal is that at the end of your ceremony you say, “that’s exactly what I wanted”. Teddy and his wife Cynthia have four children and nine grandchildren. He has a quick wit about him and if you were to meet his family, they would certainly tell you to prepare for his many “dad jokes.” He has recently retired from full time ministry and in his free time enjoys playing guitar and singing, watching sitcoms, fishing and enjoying the beautiful wonders God has given us. Teddy is here to ensure your wedding ceremony is personal, professional and most of all, unforgettable.
